Tired of the photos you take of your work not looking right? This one-day Weekend Intensive will help you understand how to take better photos of your work using your phone and/or a digital camera. We will explore static photos using solid backdrops, dynamic activated photos with staging and props, various lighting options and discuss post-shoot editing and cataloging. 

This class is designed to help you take better photos of your work without getting too bogged down in highly technical details, so don’t be afraid! 

Morning Session:

• Phone vs camera

• Camera lenses

• Keeping your phone/camera still

• Backdrops and backgrounds

• Natural and artificial Lighting

• White balance and color

• Glare

• Props, staging, and activating

Afternoon Session:

• Hands on exercises staging and shooting

• Using lightboxes

• Post shoot editing

• File naming

• Cataloging photos
