View and shop our two exhibitions, Holidays at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery, and Put a Lid on It for the last time before they close Saturday, January 3.

Catch a Live Clay Demo from our Studio Manager, Lilli Powell! Powell loves using contrast when designing forms, pairing crisp silhouettes with a pinched texture, and leaving areas of bare clay next to a glossy glazed surface. She’ll demo her handbuiling and press mold techniques.

Enjoy complimentary drinks and homemade cookies during your visit!

The Belger Glass Annex is closed during January's First Friday for maintenance, but will return in February for Glass Resident Artist, Tyler Suter's glassblowing demo!

Each artist will give a short introduction and share images of their work, followed by a group discussion moderated by Belger Crane Yard Studios Manager Lilli Powell. Learn about their studio practices, projects, and more.

This is a potluck event. If you’d like to participate in the potluck, please bring a dish or beverage that you would like to share!

Join us for a FREE Artist Talk and glassblowing demonstration with Glass Resident Artist, Tyler Suter!

Tyler Suter is a St. Louis-based studio artist who works primarily with glass. His current body of work explores the repetition of form and pattern that can be found throughout nature, from micro to macroscopic. Developing this body of work involves exploring various glassworking techniques and incorporating ceramic components.

Learn about Suter’s process and inspirations during his Artist Talk and watch him in action on First Friday as he leads the glassblowing demo to make a glass piece of art.

These programs are in conjunction with Suter’s special topic class, Hot Hands. Only a few class slots are available. Sign up today!

Join us for an exciting First Friday this February.

Watch Glass Resident Artist, Tyler Suter, in action on First Friday as he leads the glassblowing demo to make a glass piece of art. His demo is in conjunction with his special topic class, Hot Hands, and his artist talk on Thursday, February 5.

Visit the Belger Crane Yard Gallery to watch Ceramics Resident Artist Warren Van Ryzin as he gives a Live Clay Demo. Van Ryzin utilizes a combination of contemporary internet culture with indigenous ceramic history to reflect on cultural identity. Pop in to ask him questions and learn more about his studio practice.

Join us for a FREE Artist Talk and glassblowing demonstration with Visiting Artists, Ekin Deniz Aytac and Joshua Davids.

The Aytac Davids Collective is the artistic partnership of husband and wife Ekin Deniz Aytac and Joshua Davids. Their Cityscape series is a core sculptural exploration that offers reflections on the nature of self as it relates to the places and structures that shape their experience.
