Bonsai: Planters, Potting, and Shaping
Sunday, October 26, 10:30AM-5:30PM (with one hour for lunch) and Sunday, November 9, 1:00PM-4:00PM
In this exciting two-part collaborative intensive we will explore making bonsai planters through slab construction (we will have templates available for those who wish to use them) and through carving with artist Stephen Homer. After they are fired you’ll return for an immersive bonsai workshop with Eliot Myers of Blackroot Farms where you will pot up, prune, and shape your very own bonsai in one of your new creations.
This intensive is open to people of all skill levels, no experience with ceramics or bonsai required!
Skill Level: One (Beginner)

Participants will have the option to select various glaze finishes to be applied by staff or can choose to come back to the studio after their initial firing to apply glaze themselves.
