Understanding how to properly pack and ship ceramic (and other) work is an incredibly important skill to have. From cups and bowls to delicate sculptural pieces, learn from artist (and former resident) Gina Pisto how to best get your work to where it needs to go in one piece.
Whether you are moving and transporting your belongings, sending work off to a show, or shipping work someone purchased, understanding the basics of packing have many benefits. How you pack your work may at some point change how you make your work—just because something can be moved around in the studio or loaded in and out of kilns doesn’t mean that it will be easy to pack and ship.
