Artist STatement
“My work is focused on the melding of historical glass making techniques with contemporary design aesthetics. I aim to produce objects in which the viewer can feel and see a sense of appreciation for the old and new. My inspiration comes through recreation of traditional European glassware and the study of South Asian Architecture. I aim to achieve a level of elegance and precision in my work that demands the viewer to appreciate the beauty that can be expressed through simplicity and refinement of form and color.”
