Work Study
Sign up for work study at the Belger Glass Annex and accumulate credits towards glass classes and studio rentals!
Work study is the Glass Annex's scholarship program, and it is a wonderful opportunity for students and community members to learn what it takes to maintain a glassblowing studio while earning studio credit.
During work study, participants help with whatever tasks need to be completed that day. The range of possible tasks includes everything from sweeping floors and cleaning tools, to casting new components and rebuilding equipment.
Work study shifts happen in four hours blocks, and they are available on various Sundays throughout the year. Participants earn credit at a rate of $15/hour, and credits can be saved up and cashed in to pay for Glass Annex classes, workshops, and studio rentals. (For example: two work study shifts adds up to a free rental!)
