Bio

Will Preman is a Kansas City based artist. Preman primarily works in ceramic  sculpture, drawing, and video. His pieces draw from the details of life that  make objects and events special, strange or humorous. These visuals come  from all aspects of his daily life: ruminating on memories, daily routine, an  active child-like imagination and the wonderment of the human experience.

Preman has a BFA in ceramic art and art history from the Kansas City Art  Institute and a MFA in ceramic art from the New York State College of  Ceramics at Alfred University. He has been awarded residencies and  programs at Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, Sylvia J.
