Nikki Fanning

Bio

Born in Kansas City, Nikki has a background in fashion design and attended Stephens College Columbia, MO. Nikki finds inspiration in music, movies, pop culture, and the vintage aesthetic. Combining this aesthetic with a fresh perspective, Nikki uses ceramic art to find fun ways to capture emotion in her work. Currently, her focus is on slip casting, special effect glazes, and raku firing techniques. Her vibrant textures and bright colors are evident in her processes. She continues to grow, adding new techniques and mediums to her process.
