Artist Statement
My design work is sustainably created to enshrine the everyday. After several years of research, testing and refinement- I created a modular, versatile and scalable glass casting system that is designed to cherish & honor every small particle of this world, both in the production process and in the function of the resulting vessels.
I’m committed to the material of glass because of its uniquely sustainable and infinitely recyclable nature. I try to maintain a studio practice that creates very little waste. I strive to re-use and re-melt every small piece and particle of my work into a new form that is both physically and conceptually transformed.
