bio

Gary has been working in ceramics for over 25 years and has been a self-employed artist since 1998. Primarily designing and making small limited edition Novelty Teapots in recent years he has turned his attention to Salt and Pepper Shakers. In 2017 he launched his ' Rockerbilia' range of ceramics which combined his interest in Pop Culture and especially in contemporary music and its related fashions since the 1950's.  The range includes shakers in the shapes of retro microphones, guitars and rockers clothing as well as portrait Teapots of iconic Musicians including Hendrix, Bowie and McCartney.

His studio is next door to Teapot Island in Kent, England, which is home to the largest public display of Novelty Teapots in the World with over 8500 individual designs.
