Artist Statement

My ceramic vessels are vehicles to connect with others through their colorful yet earthy surfaces. My work’s intention is to encourage meditative interactions through touch and invoke a sense of of motion, flow, energy, and torsion through fluid mark making. My vessel forms help cultivate awareness and elevate sensory perceptions to hold one’s attention to the present moment.
