Skill Level: Two (Beginner-Intermediate) 

Requirements: Must have some previous ceramic experience

Date: Sunday, December 14 - 11:00AM-5:00PM (with half an hour for lunch)

This class we will cover everything from how electric kilns work to how to properly load and program a kiln! In the first half of the class we will go over all the information you need to comfortably and effectively use an electric kiln for various kinds of firings, what happens during firing, and generally demystify the working of kilns. In part two we will be in the kiln room going over furniture, using wadding/washes, loading kilns, and everyone will have a chance to program a kiln on their own! We suggest bringing your lunch with you and we have a fully equipped breakroom where you can store your lunch and eat!
