Join us for a FREE Artist Talk and glassblowing demonstration this September with Glass Resident Artist, Michael Carson!

Carson hails from Indiana and started working with glass in 2021 during his BFA at Ball State University. Originally studying construction, he was captivated by the functional design that goes into glasswork. Carson looks to challenge how people view and use functional blown glass that is neglected due to its fragility or lack of practical use.

Learn about Carson’s process and inspirations during his Artist Talk and watch him in action on First Friday as he leads the glassblowing demo to make a glass piece of art.
