In “Introduction to Coldworking” you will learn how to correctly use fundamental coldshop tools including the belt sander, flat lap, diamond saw, and lathe. This class takes you through the steps of setting up, adjusting, using, and cleaning each tool.

This course (or equivalent proficiency) is a prerequisite to renting time in the Belger Glass Annex cold shop. Cold shop renters must pass a test before being allowed to rent.
