Reina Kropf
Bio
Reina Kropf is a contemporary artist using mixed media and ceramic sculpture to illustrate themes of feminism, environmental accountability, and the inner details of personal experience. With roots in the southwestern corner of Wyoming, she received an Associate of Fine Arts from Snow College in 2022 and a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, emphasized in ceramic sculpture at Southern Utah University in 2025. Kropf has participated in several group shows across the western US and has been awarded Grand Champion at Wyoming’s Big Show and Top Graduate in Ceramics at Southern Utah University. Since 2019, Kropf has had several solo exhibitions, including A Little Predicament, Homemaker, and We Are Not Lost. She has exhibited in the Springville Art Museum and Southern Utah Museum of Art and looks forward to sharing her experiences through future exhibitions.
Artist Statement
I work with clay, fibers, and found objects to delve into the issues I wish to communicate and share them with those who view it. My work connects my experiences and beliefs with visual symbolism influenced by growing up in the western United States. My art communicates my feelings for the environment, the women I am surrounded by, and my connections to the past. My work delves into the issues I wish to communicate and share with those who view it.
