Nick Eggert

Bio

My name is Nick Eggert, and my company, Glassical Creations, is currently located in Asheville, NC. I have been creating glass since 2011, with a main focus on borosilicate glass, but in 2021, I expanded into soft glass work in the hotshop.

My work is ever evolving, but I’ve enjoyed exploring themed focuses over the years. These themes have ranged from full-sized, functional musical instruments to sea life and plant life themes, and include everything from drinkware to other functional glass creations.

Mostly self taught through a process of repetitive trial and error, I’m always aiming to master the little things that help bring life to my creations. Over the years, I’ve also had the privilege of learning from and collaborating with countless amazing artists across the country.
