Whether you’re looking to try ceramics for the first time and want a more personal experience, want to do a class with a partner, or are looking to explore a specific technique we can make it work for you. We have an amazing pool of talented artists available to teach almost any ceramics topic and skill-level with two and three hour options, as many and as often as you would like. A truly customizable learning experience!

Pricing: $40/hour (minimum two hours a month required) for individuals

$75/hour (minimum two hours a month required) for two individuals

Included with Lesson:

  • Cone 6 clay (amount determined by project, not to exceed 15lbs).

  • Bisque firings included, use of glazes & glaze firings are lesson dependent.

  • Outside of class studio access for one week from your lesson start within the following hours:

Mon-Thur 9am-9pm

Fri-Sun 10am-6pm

Similar in format to our popular Date Nights and Saturday Socials, you’ll get a demonstration from one of our talented instructors, then spend time making and decorating your very own ceramic object with as much or as little guidance as you like. We take care of the final glazing and firing, box everything up for you and you’ll be able to pick them up in just a few weeks!

Handbuilding options can be tailored to your crew (examples: bowls, vases, planters, etc) and are available for almost any day and time. Wheel-throwing is typically not available Mon-Fri from 6:00PM-9:00PM, Saturdays after 1:00PM, and Sundays after 3:00PM due to other class scheduling. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

  • We provide aprons and recommend that you “dress for mess” or bring a change of clothes in case you have other activities planned before or after class. We have a place for you to change.

  • Our instructors will demo, then participants will create their artworks the first 2/3rds of class. Each participant create one item, and then gets to decorate/underglaze (paint) it the final 1/3rd of class.

  • Artworks are finished (clear glazed and fired) by staff. This makes them food and dishwasher safe.

  • You will receive an artwork pick-up notification email approximately three weeks after your class date.
