Here Comes the Sun: Seasonal Gallery Collection

April 3 - May 30, 2026

Here Comes the Sun at the Belger Crane Yard Gallery showcases the work of Nicole Aquillano, Jodie Masterman, and Ursula Tizon, uniting their distinct approaches in a celebration of warmth and seasonal renewal. Centered on imagery inspired by spring, the collection reflects the visible changes in the natural world, as well as the emotional and sensory experiences brought on by longer days and brighter skies. Although each artist works in a distinct medium and style, they are connected through a shared focus on mindfulness and light -- how illumination touches, transforms, and gives meaning to the objects and memories that shape our everyday lives.

Aquillano’s ceramic works, drawn from photographs, weave together nostalgia and themes of family, offering a sense of place both personal and universally resonant. Masterman’s stoneware delights with bright patterning and gentle forms, inviting daily rituals to feel joyful and spirited. Tizon’s stained glass compositions feature vibrant, symmetrical patterns that harness and reshape light - designs that come alive as the sun moves throughout the day.

Ultimately, Here Comes the Sun is more than a seasonal reference; together, these artists create a dialogue between function, illumination, and memory that’s both wholehearted and inviting.
