This hybrid (wheel and handbuilding) class is designed to help you improve your ceramic skills and get you to the next stage of your journey, wherever that may be. Whether your interests are on the wheel or by hand, functional or decorative, pottery or sculpture, we will work together to move you forward!

This class includes group discussions, demonstrations and/or presentations, and plenty of room for growth!

Skill Level: Three (Intermediate)

Requirements:

• For wheel: Pull 6 inch tall cylinders and 4 inch wide round bottom bowls as well as be able to trim and/or completion of Wheel Throwing Level Two

• For handbuilding: Understanding of basic handbuilding techniques as well as basic glazing/finishing knowledge and/or completion of Handbuilding Level Two

• 15 lbs cone 6 clay

• Firings of all work made during the course

• Studio access outside of class time during the following hours:

  Monday-Thursday 9:00AM-9:00PM, Friday-Sunday 10:00AM-6:00PM
