Artist Statement
My work brings moments of visibility to the otherwise overlooked. From the invisible systems we routinely take for granted, to the fleeting thoughts we have throughout the day that instantly slip out of mind and are forgotten. Glass as a material lends itself perfectly to conveying concepts of invisibility, transparency, hidden layers, clarity, and fragility. It is ideal for creating opportunities to look at something we typically look through.
