If you want to explore new shapes and deviate from the usual flat bottom, this is your class! This course will widen students’ ability to create new forms. In Part B of Handbuilding with Molds, we will learn to make and use bisque clay molds. We will combine slab and coil handbuilding methods. Closed forms and paddling will enable even further control over shapes, with great tips thrown in for easier coil building. These are great skills both for one of a kind objects or creating a series. It’s not necessary to complete Part A before enrolling in Part B, so if you missed it you can still join this course!
