Believing that everyone has creative potential and that cultivating creativity is a worthwhile pursuit, Mercedez offers marbling workshops and private DIY experiential art sessions as a means to reconnect people with their inherent creativity.

Artist Statement

My innovative approach to water marbling redefines tradition. While marbling is historically linked to paper, I expanded my “canvases” to include silk scarves, fabrics, and even unconventional surfaces like terra-cotta and wooden furniture. I embrace vibrant colors and contemporary designs, departing from uniform patterns. Moreover, I've ventured into the digital realm, transforming marbled designs into versatile digital files using Photoshop. This fusion of tradition and experimentation revitalizes age-old techniques, giving them new relevance for the modern era.
